Argueably one of Rumiko Takahashi's best series,
Maison Ikkoku is a heart-tearing tale of flunk-out student Yusaku Godai
trying to win the love of the boarding house manager, Kyoko Otanashi, a
bueatiful and very naive widow. Yusaku's quest is thrown for dozens of
twists and turns mostly thanks to the other members of the boarding house
who's only goal in life is to drive Yusaku crazy!
Rarely there comes a series which has you
anticipating the next chapter as much as Maison Ikkoku. Chock full of cliff
hangers, wonderful humor, and so many real life problems involving love
it's scarey, Maison Ikkoku has always been one of my favorites.
